I really wonder what John Brown would think of us. A bunch of weird, foul mouthed people espousing economic and political systems that he might not have heard of, with bizarre hair and clothes, cheering him on.
he'd probably learn that slave patrols were professionalized and organized at all levels of government and conclude that his crusade had failed
He'd think we were losers and then recruit us to be the vanguard of his war party so we would die first. I'd happily join.
