The answer is easy: Yes, yes they are the most influential . Without them, nobody would have considered Superhero movies big business. And Spider-Man Movies are still raking in some of the most predictable numbers, when other heroes have already run out of steam.

You know they made several very successful batman films way before Spiderman right?

And several very successful superman films way before those.

Spiderman wasn't even the first Marvel filn to be successful. The xmen movie came out two years before and Blade was two years before that.
