Some would argue this is a conflict between ideal activism and effective activism.

A) If not using twitch and youtube then they'd only appeal to enthusiasts and people who already have joined the case but on the other side it is not alienating to the hard core supporters or aggress on their digital neutrality.

B) If using youtube and twitch they can reach a grander audience as well as over time maybe make effective political change that obliterates youtube and twitch entirely and opens up a brighter future.
