Getting away from propaganda, promotion, spam and sensational news and toward digital minimalism has been phenomenal. I still occasionally use nitter and watch too much invidious instead of reading at bedtime.
I miss the expert communities and ability to ask questions on virtually any subject. The silver lining is I do more research on my own to try to find answers.
How is Invidious working for you?
Pretty good. I built a little tool ( https://invidi.link ) to generate links for all instances with good uptime data and also use rss feeds for channels I like so I donβt have to rely too much on the flaky search.
