I'm still quietly using a 3rd party app for my limited Reddit visits as I am a moderator for a sub with no content.
I used to be in the same boat. I still occasionally checked the mid feeds for my subs every once in a while. Very quickly though, the amount of decent people making posts plummeted, and the amount of asshole trolls skyrocketed. And on top of that, the reddit mobile app is wet hot shit for moderating, so even that was obnoxious.
They massacred my boys.
You misunderstood, my sub is private and the only member is me. This enables some 3rd party apps to still work. I still use a 3rd party app to visit Reddit.
I am not going to install the official app.
That is why boost still works for me
