Chapman to the IL yesterday, Bichette back on the IL now today. Extremely bad timing.

Losing Bichette for any amount of time is huge, of course. But somehow I don't feel the same about a Chapman IL stint?

I'd have to agree. Chapman has had an abysmal August. OPS is .532 with a wRC+ of just 48 since August 1st. It would almost be hard to replace him with a worse bat in the lineup right now. Can't replace his defence at third though.
