I'm curious about if those that decided to leave reddit and found a home here miss anything from reddit or like it here more.

I think the primary reason is that Fediverse isn't commercially driven. Much like the internet of old, it's just a bunch of people running servers because they enjoy doing it. The motivation is very different from commercial social media where the goal is to monetize the users of the platform. Fediverse is the internet by the people for the people the way it was always meant to be.
