Well, I'm gonna try to get this community going! It may be just me talking to myself for a while.

Anyway, from Winnipeg I really like St. James Burger, Santa Lucia Pizza (I think this is local), Baked Expectations, and Oh Doughnuts! Outside of Winnipeg, I like Big Smoak in Steinbach, Joe Beeverz in Brandon, Fundars in Lundar (this might not exist anymore), Hespelers in Niverville, and my family used to love Barney Gargles in Selkirk although I think the pandemic killed it.

Great recommendations! I tried to like St James Burgers & their cinnamon fries but they just weirded me out, haha. I know a lot of people love them. The burger was good though!

We have been enjoying Charlie Burgers / 9 Below for tasty homemade-ish burgers and they have really good ice cream too. Speaking of good ice cream, we often stop at L&J's in Treherne when we're out in that area.

We try to go to a few Goldeyes games every year and I keep meaning to try Big Smoak there, but I haven't yet. Not sure how it compares to their actual location though.

Been to Joe Beeverz a few times, and it was always really good. My wife isn't supposed to have potatoes anymore so we haven't been in a while.

We enjoy Santa Lucia everyone now and then, and i'm pretty sure it's manitoba-based. We frequently get The Elm pizza too, because it's pretty close & consistently tasty. Also enjoy Red Ember on occasion too.

Oh Doughnuts is amazing too!

I thought I had more places to add but my brain apparently isn't working right now. I'll update this if I think of any more!
