Well, I'm gonna try to get this community going! It may be just me talking to myself for a while.

Anyway, from Winnipeg I really like St. James Burger, Santa Lucia Pizza (I think this is local), Baked Expectations, and Oh Doughnuts! Outside of Winnipeg, I like Big Smoak in Steinbach, Joe Beeverz in Brandon, Fundars in Lundar (this might not exist anymore), Hespelers in Niverville, and my family used to love Barney Gargles in Selkirk although I think the pandemic killed it.

Cafe Dario was good but he didn't open after the pandemic. Pine ridge hollow is good, specially their dessert. Sub zero is a good ice cream place. Grand donut/bakery is a really good Vietnamese Restaurant, they have good donut but we go there for bunmi(Vietnamese sub). Edit: Pho Kim Toung is the best and consistent pho in the city.

I've heard good things about Grand donut, but haven't been there yet. Soon! Sub zero is fantastic ice cream too, forgot about it!
