Today. I'm really very sad. I really hope this will never be integrated into OpenBSD.

InitWare aims to be like systemd, but portable, smaller and modular. The fact it's running on OpenBSD is proof that it's fulfilling those goals.

So, three things SystemD is explicitly the opposite of, in some regards quite deliberately and fundamentally.

"portable", yes, but neither "smaller" nor "modular" are evidenced by that.
