We all know what happened and I doubt there's much behind-the-scenes stuff to refute that fact either.

He gave an interview midway through his time at Chelsea basically saying he wanted to go back to Italy.

Since then, he's stunk up the gaff in Italy, produced a bit of a disasterclass in the Champions League final and then tried to engineer a move to one of their biggest rivals.

Man is a petulant diva who lives for the drama.
