To think Arsenal were in the middle of signing him but it was right as Edu came in and the transfer was lost with the changes being made. The almost club is what it feels like. Would have been a perfect fit too. Real Madrid fans are super lucky to watch the players they get.

Is this a meta comment referring to Arsene Wenger almost signing everybody?

If that were the case, you guys would have had the world XI each year running, "almost" doesn't mean anything in the end.
