Just once I want to hear "Honestly I blame everyone else. All my coaches, my o-line, the wide receivers... even the opposing defense. Fucking bullshit."
I would like to apologize, to ABSOLUTELY NOBODY.
In public you'd have to look to Jeff George but the best quotes are probably lost to time.
In private I'd say Ryan Leaf said that exact thing in the qb room at least once.

There are some guys who could legit say this and not even be wrong.

Yeah there seems to be an unwritten rule that QBs always lead by taking the hit for performance and sometimes it IS them. But when the offense has a team up by something like 34-17 late in the 3rd and the D collapses, that's not on the QB. But there's no single player on D that has to stand up there and say "yeah, we sucked"
