Or people who can't have hormonal birth control but don't want to get pregnant =)

Yes because it's a well known fact that if a woman has problems with hormonal birth control then her partner automatically is unable to wear condoms.

My partner and I always use condoms, but it is nice knowing where I'm at in my cycle. It helps to know how paranoid I should be since I live in a red state.

I don't trust one method of birth control. We've talked about him getting a vasectomy, and I'll probably be getting a microscope.

To check for sperm. The body can heal in amazing ways, which can include reversing a vasectomy.

No thanks, I already ate.

Too see if there's still sperms after the vasectomy.

Get a proper lab to check that

That's fair. Before my V my partner was pretty anxious. Plus the few times she's had to have the morning after pill the surge of hormones has fucked her cycle for best part of a year agtert

PSA: this is a reminder that no birth control method is fully bullet proof and that it's perfectly valid to want to use condoms and track ovulation cycles at the same time.

Also, vasectomy.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

No, but maybe they still want to know when they can go at it without one. At least thats what my wife and me are doing.

That's between my sister-in-law and her husband XD

My wife and I don't have to worry about pregnancy! (Planned) child is due in April =)

There are copper IUD's as an alternative too

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

My sister has one! They seem like a pretty good option

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

They're pretty awesome. I think they can stay for 10 years, and it's a relatively quick out-patient procedure to have it placed/removed. No hormones, and like 99% effective

Gods, that sounds awful! I feel for those people... It's difficult/stressful enough otherwise. Those of you have my sympathies.

Same hat (m, f partner can't can't take it) wrap it up!
