Jesus fuck wear safety glasses!
Always wearing safety glasses in every lab is a bit excessive. Chances are high that the ph of those solutions are more than coke...
I'm a bit worried about the ones that are a lot lower too though.
Even then, always wearing safety glasses isn't necessary if properly trained personel is handling these substances. If they are so strong it becomes worrysome they need to be handled in a fume closet either way.
