Oh, so like US tech companies, namely social media platforms and increasingly "news" outlets?

We can't escape that most companies that handle, collect, and display data, no matter where they are from, are probably doing evil things with that data.

Not trying to downplay the horrible crap that Chinese companies and their government does, but it really does happen outside of China all the time.
