Yes. You will bale to subscribe to it. Think of it as countries that have alliances. Think of lemmy.world, lemmy.ml as countries that have alliances to share information. The country lemmy.world shares information with lemmy.ml and the country lemmy.ml share information with lemmy.world. That is called federation.
When it comes to beehaw, that instance decided to defedrate with some big instances, like lemmy.world. That means lemmy.world and beehaw no longer share information (yes, I know it’s extremely simplistic, but it’s just to explain how federation works).
When it comes to lemmy, it’s different instances that share information to each other so that it appears as one big system.
