I read the article. And meant what I said- time spent on this nonsense could have been spent on something that actually impacts game play. How many hours were spent on romance in this game that could been put toward improving seemingly any function of the game?

God forbid it's a role playing game, romance has all its place in this genre, even if it doesn't appeal to you

They improved something some players enjoy. If you don’t want to play the romance aspect then don’t.
