(look more like a seed pod than egg casing)
I'd have thought these were molts but seed pod sounds very plausible. thing is I don't bring these blankets outside and the one I found them on I hadn't used in a while.
Pets or fuzzy socks bring them in too - definitely looks like a seed pod to me!
