I was really excited for this game and now its out I can't bring myself to spend that much money on it. I shouldn't have read the reviews! What do you guys think of it?
It’s a lot of fun, but pretty barebones. I’m excited for the future because it’s a great start, the engine feels good. But that’s assuming they hold true to the promise of keeping it alive. ATM it feels more like a $40 game but I don’t regret buying it.
Yes definitely agree it's exciting for the future! I've enjoyed the 2k games but it's great to see some competition coming along.
I saved Microsoft Rewards Points specifically for this, so I ended up getting it for free. I would have been happy paying full price, though, but I'm just having so much fun with the game that I'm biased.
The other person here hit the nail on the head saying that certain modes aren't fleshed out yet, like the create a wrestler, but it just needs some updates. I am confident that they'll develop this mode and add a ton of options.
