It’s $80/person before the lawyers take their share. These lawsuits do nothing but make lawyers rich.
It's also $80/person paid by the people he's paying.
Uhhh.. k?
Not quite true, it also makes Ford look bad...not that it'll make much of a difference though.
He makes himself look bad without lawsuits
No, this 320k is ALL for the lawyers. Haven't even gotten to the 200 million of damages yet.
Is it just the legal fees being paid? Or is it $80/person for the damages?
Oh I dunno, I just did the math. $320,000 ÷ by 4000 is $80.
Edit: upon further thought, the article doesn’t say if this is the end of the lawsuit or not. Sounds like the $320,000 amount is what the government has already paid to their lawyers to fight it.
$320,000 is the legal fees. The post/article mentions the damages they're seeking too, which is $200,000,000.
I didn't read the article though, so I don't know if they are/n't getting it (or if it hasn't been decided yet).
Yeah I added an edit when I realized the article doesn’t say whether or not the lawsuit is over.
