OP, are you brave enough to open this reddit AMA and read comments? It might just explode your mind, beware!

R*ddit users were so different just ~~a year ago~~ two years ago (guess
np
means it's cached)No just means voting and commenting is disabled. AFAIK, Reddit has no internal cache. Save everything of interest from there on a site like archive.org
Yeah, the Wayback Machine is very useful.
Apparently
np
means that the subr*ddit can use a custom CSS stylesheet, so I guess it might be changing the date...?What does 'changing the date' mean? It's not archived or anything, no, it's live. Like AgreeableLandscape said, it "just means voting and commenting is disabled", and it was never updated from https://old.reddit.com/ format.
It means just that -- the np.reddit.com link shows "1 year ago", as opposed to reddit.com's "2 years ago". As you said, apparently this is because it's based on old.reddit.com.
Yep, my guess is it's rounding up to a year differently on the two front-ends. As you can see, their front-pages you posted are identical posts.
Yeah, that makes sense
whoa, we've got an anti-Wayback Machine guy here
I read some parts very bravely, nothing exploded. Seems I just have more capacity than you could even imagine.
What you are saying in this entire thread is completely and utterly contradicted by everything going on in that CIA AMA, did you notice?
one injustice does not justify the other
One injustice in this case casts serious doubt that the other injustice happened.
What is the other injustice?
