Are you an Anarchist? The answer might surprise you!
Rules:
- Be respectful
- Don't be a nazi
- Argue about the point and not the person
- This is not the place to debate the merits of anarchism itself. While discussion is encouraged, getting in your “epic dunks on the anarkiddies” is not. As a result of the instance’s poor moderation policies and hostility toward anarchists by default, lemmygrad users are encouraged not to post here, though not explicitly disallowed if they aren’t just looking to start a fight.

Consensus decision making works best when there are real practical issue at hand and it isn't some politicized debate where people often prefer to put on an act for their in-group.
It is also important to recognize that in some cases the people with the most practical experience of the topic discussed might not be able to attend lengthy meetings due to more pressing issues at hand.
I found this a good overview: https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/seeds-for-change-consensus-decision-making
Good read.
By the way it would be cool to have a starter sticky post in this sub, about anarchy 101 and food for thoughts on some major topics. Some of the materials you provided in other posts would fit that very well. We could also write short extracts for non-textual content, to make it easier to grasp. I would love to help do that if others find it useful.
Sure go ahead and share a post with a link collection. I can make it sticky then and we can discuss any additions in the comments.
I will do that !
