I really think ppl should use torrents, or webtorrent tools like https://instant.io/ for data. Torrents have fully solved the data distribution and availability problem... but since there's no easy way to view torrents within a web browser, we're stuck with the client server model, so we have to use these hosted sites.

Imgur is really bad, I'd recommend anything else, https://postimages.org/ is a decent one.

For markdown text, I like https://rentry.co/ , but for code other things are better.

For little vids, streamable.

For audio: https://sndup.net/ looks okay.
