It could be a bug, or or could just be me or maybe its be design. But when you open a link to an image. I'm not able to zoom on it. Touching the screen again will cause the image to close instead.

You can pinch and zoom, but its tricky.

I'm not sure the exact mechanism yet, but either you have to wait for the image to fully load (might be looking at a cached thumbnail for a few seconds?) before you can zoom, in which case a loading/spinning wheel would be helpful to let you know you can't zoom yet, or you just have to do it really fast as the image closes if you don't touch and pinch immediately.

I'm not sure which it is, but I can definitely zoom on images if I try hard enough.

I would love to see a double tap to zoom as well, sync for reddit had that where you double tap to zoom and you can do it a second time for another zoom before it maxed out.

Your latter guess was correct, it was dismissing the image on touch down if you weren't doing a gesture. It's now been fixed to dismiss on touch up if there's no gesture and also delayed by 100ms in case you follow it up with a gesture.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll take a look at this in the next release. In the meantime double tap should work.

This is my #1 issue, trying to pinch zoom closes the image 75% of the time.
