From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

I took my Linux Mint 19.2 OS drive (SSD) on a trip and plugged back into my PC and now it is NOT presenting me my RAID array!

What the heck happened? I didn't do anything weird with my OS or the drive on the "loaner" PC nor messed with the remaining HDD on the loaner PC.

So why is my Software RAID1 array is not working right anymore??

It's showing me a 500GB HDD instead of both of them and apparently it's marked as a spare INSTEAD of both of them as members.

Maybe it's worth checking the DATA CABLE before I tried removing the array. XD Well it was just used for backups that were driven irrelevant anyways. Now to make a new RAID1 array to take its place.
