Lemmy.world grew from around 51000 total users the moment 3rd party reddit apps started to shut down on June 30 to 71000 total users at the time of this post (July 1). That's a 40% growth in about 12 hours!

And yet fediverse observer is showing declining user count, while server count, comments and posts are growing steadily.

Sync for Lemmy is coming soon which should be one of the best apps around if it perfectly can replicate the (now removed) Reddit version.
