I can't recall a console I sold that I particularly regrets selling, but only because I never really lost out on anything. It's not like I can't still play my favorite games or anything. Also, I eventually reacquired the consoles I sold over time, not particularly out if regret, but out of the desire to share the experience with others in the future.

Though, I did sell a Retron5 that I had, it was the SNES Grey version. While it wasn't exactly a retro console, it was pretty cool being able to consolidate all those retro consoles into one single device, and it looked pretty sleek too. I plan to check out a PolyMega sometime soon, I like their modular console idea a lot.

Super Nintendo - I was in my mid teens and my mother coerced me into giving my Super Nintendo into my cousin, but I have regretted it ever since.

Coincidentally, Super Mario RPG remake is coming out in November and will probably make me feel fine again!

I regret selling any of my toys and games

My brother and I sold our original NES and all of the games, just to buy Donkey Kong Country for our SNES. We got a VHS tape in the mail with a behind the scenes look at the making of the game and previews, and it convinced us to be stupid.

Granted its a great game and I still have it, but it wasn't worth dumping our NES classics for.

One of my old friends dad sold the atari jaguar. With multiple controllers and a pretty full game library. Pretty sure it was worth a pretty penny then too but he didn't think twice about it. Would probably fetch over a grand now for the collection.

I have the same regret, I gave my N64 to a family friend in the late 90s. However, I later bouught a replacement N64 with two new-in-box gold controllers so I can still get my GoldenEye fix.

I still have a bunch of my original consoles: NES, Genesis, Dreamcast. The only I don't still have are my PS1 (original, not the tiny One), N64, and Gamecube. PS upgraded to a PS2, and to be honest I never really played the N64 much. But the GC just kind of fell by the wayside and got lost. It had such amazingly unique games, but just was overlooked (even by me at the time) because it just didn't match up graphically and didn't really have the 1st or 3rd party support it needed.

I still have all mine. But I never play them. I mess with emulators though.

I'm still holding on to my commodore 64. I'm taking that thing to my grave

I have never sold a console. I have frustratingly lost a few handhelds, which sucks.

I slightly regret not keeping a large CRT, but honestly those things are stupidly heavy and made of glass. I did score some small CRTs at flea markets awhile back, which is more than enough for the novelty.

I slightly regret selling my Wii U to get a Switch but I think there's still time to backpedal on that one without it being a huge loss.

I regret getting rid of my Wii, only because that’s the one I’m missing to complete my Nintendo home console collection. I had initially sold it because the Wii U played Wii games, but it would be nice to have it back for a complete set.

I ain't getting rid of my PSX.

Not a console, but I had a stack of old Gamecube games I traded into Gamestop to put towards a game that I just had to have on day one. Can't actually remember the name of it now. Granted I think a good chunk of those were shovelware titles, but I still regret trading them in given that I managed to hang on to most of my other old consoles and games over the years. Thankfully most of my old stuff just got shoved into the back of a closet and was waiting when I inevitably got nostalgic.

I have kept most of my Nintendo systems, but I sold my GameCube and now I regret it.

Games are still playable on my Wii, but I would have modded the GC to load games from a sd card to make it more future proof, as the disk reading part is the most fragile.

I semi-sorta regret selling my Gizmondo, but really, anything it can do, the PSP can do better. Plus I've heard the system has been melting in users' hands due to its rubberized shell. It felt great in your hands back in 2008! Maybe not so much now.

I kinda wish I still had my Atari 7800, too. Not a great system, but Rikki and Vikki suggests that it could have been pushed a lot harder than what we actually got.

Shes a 'beaut.

I regret selling off my games and hardware over the years for upgrades. I wish I had my childhood Gameboys still. But alas, it gives me something to collect todat

To date, I've never sold one. At times it makes me feel like a hoarder, but in all honesty I do semi-regularly go back and play my old systems.

Edit: and/or repair -- my NES works again.

My mom sent my Wii to family in the Dominican Republic, that was at the peak of Brawl... child me was never so upset.
