I had no idea that McDonald's had different prices for the same items in different locations. Like it makes sense in retrospect but damn, nugs at a 50% premium depending on where you get them.

Most McDonald's are franchises

Yeah it says that in the article. I'd just never thought about franchisees having the ability to set their prices. Especially ordering through the app - makes it feel like all one restaurant but it sure isn't.

My kids are in their 40s now. I have not been in a mcdonalds since I convinced them that there were better choices when they were under 10 years old.
