Whole lotta WTF. But I’m thinking, if this guy with his own private army was vanquished so easily…there was a rumor his family was threatened.
He wanted to capture shoigu and didn't manage to do it. Probably failed to garner as much support as he thought he would and had to call it off.

Do you think he was vanquished or paid off? He's never criticized Putin directly, just those working under him.
Based on what I read, so far this is what I think happened.
This whole shitshow is cathartic because it reminds me of my ex's family, so it's like I'm watching their toxic behaviors playout as the fight each other.
Except this time, the ex's family's got thermo-nuclear warheads.

He was seen alive and free in public after the deal, so I'd say him and Putin are currently engaged in a game of cat and mouse. He could have been caught, but I don't think it's really to be expected.
He's not shy from posting on social media. I think he's dead.
