The Zuck keeps fucking up. Good. I hope they lose more users, they certainly deserve much, much worse.
I'm sure most people on Lemmy are painfully aware of facebook's shortcomings, but if anyone's interested, Behind the Bastards (a podcast) did some extensive research on Marky Mark and his mistakes. In fact, there were so many they had to do it twice! The tone of the show is lighthearted, but the facts presented are still rage inducing. I recommend Antennapod, if you prefer listening on an Android phone.

Hopefully this will get more people to realize what utter shit Facebook products are and that they should switch to better alternatives.
So this actually resonated with some friends and family members and I was able to sign them up to Telegram. Might be worth a shot to share. Telegram isn't perfect but it's a lot better than Whatsapp for privacy.
I wonder if they can sink much deeper than this. they are literally forcing people to agree with their utter shit. this is digital tyranny.
We've gotta show those wannabe dictators that we don't need them. We have to move over to decentralized stuff like Lemmy, Mastodon, Matrix and more 👍🏻💪🏻
