What's a decent price for a banh mi, in your opinion?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago

Around $10 for me.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago

$9.50 actually I haven’t been to one in awhile so unsure if the price for the place I usually go to. Remember hearing from someone that the price has gone up, and don’t remember how much

Paid $8 today which I feel is reasonable in today's financial climate

Would or should my landlord cough up for a service for my split system AC? Anyone asked for it before?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I would assume that if the AC came with the property when you rented it, then it would be the landlord's responsibility to cover maintenance costs. We clean ours semi-regularly (unit, filters etc.) since it's our only source of heating and cooling, but haven't had it serviced yet. There's something on this website that kind of? says the same thing but it's not super clear.

My mum's a property manager and she said this "Renter responsibility is to keep the unit and filters clean, maintenance is on the owner".

Finished Mad Men s5. That was probably the weakest of the seasons I've watched so far but there's still corkers in there. That penultimate episode was devastating. As was the Herb Rennet one. But my favourite might be Signal 30 - BECAUSE HE WAS CAUGHT WITH CHEWING HIM ON HIS PUBIS!!! And now I'm sad again...

holy shit - visitors arrived at my neighbours next door, and I swear to fUCKING Alanis if they start singing Katy Perry again, I'm going to TP their welcome mat.

edit: EVERY MONDAY WTF
