There was an attempted coup after the 2022 election. That is was incompetently executed doesn't mean it wasn't an attempted coup. If the insurrectionists were better-organized and less stupid, there could have well been a civil war.
There was only a few hundred of those morons and it will take a hell of a lot more than that to spark a civil war less yet an effective coup.
By all accounts it came very close. Even with racist morons and a commander in cheese.
I already moved on to a boat and made sure there's a clear path to the open sea. The only worry I have is the US Navy sealing the borders. My hope is that they'll be busy with other problems.
Except that civil war will be fought online.
