I've been on 1.12 for ages, and I'd love to see something new and exciting from a modded perspective. Sadly, the only mods I've found post 1.12 that are full fledged and actually NEW are Create, Ars Nouveau, and Occultism (oh and I think Hexerei, but I haven't actually played with it).
Has there really been no new, big mods made past 1.12? To clarify, I mean they weren't originally made for 1.12 or earlier. And they're big (new mechanics, dimensions, creative design). I went and sorted curseforge mods by version (tried using 1.18 and 1.20) and sorted by popularity, and got 15 pages of libraries and one trick pony mods.
Has anything new been created for 1.18 or 1.20 that's on the level of Betweenlands? Or Thaumcraft? Ancient Warfare? Twilight Forest? Astral Sorcery? Embers? Roots? Dimensional Doors? Misty World? I realize some of these are being updated, but I was hoping for something new.
I have to say, I absolutely love the changes that have come to vanilla minecraft over the last 5 years (since 1.12's release). I thought there would be more (big) mods by this point.
Someone tell me I'm crazy and point me in the right direction!
