I have a minimalist setup in my spare room - just a projector and a Roku SE HD. The Roku has just two ports, power in and HDMI out. The picture from the projector is nice, but the sound level is low and the fan is quite noisy.
What I'd like is an amp with the following ports:
Power in
HDMI in (from the Roku)
HDMI out (to the projector)
Stereo out (to a pair of speakers).
I don't need enormous power, don't need any other inputs or outputs. Controls wise I don't need anything more than on/off and volume. Ideally I'd like it to have a comparable form factor to the Roku, i.e. tiny. I just want something that will boost the sound out from the projector to some half decent speakers (which I already have from redundant surround setup).
Does such a device exist?
