I tried posting this to r/LGOLED but I haven’t gotten any responses so hopefully this is relevant here.

I recently purchased an LG OLED 83C3 for my theater room, which is still a work in progress. In our theater room, there is an AVR/media port which connects to the TV. Previously I was using an older Vizio TV (model M80-C3) and the Xbox worked fine while connected to this media port but whenever I try to connect the Xbox to the LG through this media port, it will detect the Xbox but it will only display a black screen.

Now the weird part is, if I connect the Xbox DIRECTLY into the TV (as in not connected through the media port) I have no issues at all.

I have verified all the HDMI cables work and I have tried multiple HDMI ports as well as restarting the TV and the Xbox. So I’m curious if it’s something to do with the media port or if it’s a settings issues with either the Xbox or the TV?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!
