DTECH Powered 1 in 4 Out 3 RCA Splitter Box 4 Port AV Splitter 4 Way Composite Video Audio Distribution Amplifier with Power Adapter
I have powered full range speakers, one powered sub, a single audio out from my PC. So this totals to three 3.5mm jack connections (1 input, 2 output). I can use RCA to 3.5mm adapters where needed.
Setup:
- This splitter has 3 RCA outputs. 1 for the front stereo speakers, 1 for the sub and 2 are unused.
- PC audio output will go into splitter RCA input.
- Looking to use a mono cable on one of the splitter's outputs so it physically merges left and right for the sub.
- I'm mainly looking to isolate each splitter audio output so the front speakers stereo output remains as a stereo signal and the sub output stereo signal physically merges as a result of the mono cable.
I know there are mixers and DACs that do this kind of thing but I'm looking for a simple and cheap solution. SQ isn't a huge consideration here.
