Having to write WWW in URL (lemmy.ml)

Hey, I recently have to manually type "www." in url or else I get unable to connect page. What setting / addon is causing this / how to fix ?

What page? It's likely that the website itself is the problem, they may have only configured the www. subdomain and forgot about the main one. Btw you can just type "websitename," press ctrl+enter and Firefox will navigate to "www.websitename.com."

Thanks ctrl + enter works great. It happened with reddit.com (but I have privacy redirect plugin) however I cannot reproduce this 100% of time. Also it might be my hosts file (StevenBlack's)...

Never had this problem, you sure it isn't the website itself?
