To take action: disable your advertising ID, and disable location permissions for apps you don’t trust. There are instructions here:

Does “Ask App Not To Track” absolutely disable tracking? I thought it just asked the app not to, but doesn’t actually prevent tracking

IIRC, it won't give apps access to the standard tracking ID and APIs.

Better yet would be to use a smartphone that's supported by alternative ROMs and install such, like LikeageOS, ArrowOS etc.

This allows for getting rid of Google Apps and Services altogether.

This is a big topic with many implications like some apps needing workarounds to get them to run and some apps probably won't work at all. You also lose notifications via Google servers.

There's the in-between solution to use microG instead of the official Gapps.

I personally use ArrowOS vanilla (without Gapps) and for my use case, the only thing I somewhat miss are notifications via Google servers.
