I recently bought an apple 4k tv and I’ve noticed that with “match dynamic range” enabled none of my apps detect that I can play HDR. With the setting disabled and DV tuned on my apps will detect that I can play HDR, however ALL content is displayed in DV(HDR) including SDR content.
