Banned from shaving? That seems like an odd one. Some of the gayest gays I know have beards.
This I can get because for some people, beard = man. At work several years ago I mentioned how a friend of mine had done laser treatments to not have to shave and all the dudes around me got so offended that several had to leave the room.
What's shocking is the "show me your genitals" thing.
