Bryan Cranston returned to the world of Breaking Bad in Better Call Saul, but fans shouldn't expect to see him back as Walter White again.

AI TLDR for those who want to save a click:

Breaking Bad and its spin-off Better Call Saul have concluded, bringing an end to the franchise's storylines. However, the shows remain popular over a decade later. While creator Vince Gilligan is open to potentially revisiting the universe, he wants to leave it alone for now. Lead actor Bryan Cranston believes it is time to let the Breaking Bad franchise rest after its long success. Cranston noted that everything should have a beginning, middle, and end, and that it may be best to let the story of the series conclude without attempting further installments.

An interesting point made is that while there is still interest from fans in more Breaking Bad stories, creator Vince Gilligan has expressed not wanting to "beat a dead horse" or risk diminishing the legacy of the acclaimed series by pushing the franchise too far.

Better Call Saul was worthy because it more successfully kept humor throughout its run. El Camino was also good at this. I think with the three projects they accomplished their desire and then some.
