Anyone else unable to listen to music with lyrics? (self.adhd)

Every time a song goes on, I can't focus on anything else because I feel the lyrics going into my brain and replacing my thoughts with other words. Especially if I'm trying to do homework or coding. So because of this, I only listen to classical music or the instrumental tracks of modern songs I do like. My family thinks it's weird. I only listen to lyrical songs if I want to sing them

Does anyone else relate?
