I want to know if we will be seeing that elf again?!
What about these worlds within the paintings? How are they connected? Are the beings alive?!
A Community for Dungeon Meshi a.k.a. Delicious in Dungeon.
The first season of the anime adaptation can be found on Netflix. Season 2 is confirmed and presumably currently in production.
DO NOT SPOIL THE ANIME WATCHERS
This is so that the anime watchers can sub to the community without worry of seeing posts that would spoil later parts of the story. This includes manga pages and panels, mentioning characters, fanart, etc.
Parent instance rules also apply, of course.

We will meet them again. It's unclear whether the worlds within the paintings are real, or even actual portals to an earlier point in time.
Time portal. Now that would be fun.

Liaos is getting weirder by the episode and I love it!
It's like he has always been this weird, but his normal facade is crumbling away a little bit more each episode. It's a lot of fun. Even Chilchuck didn't want to trigger his weirdness by mentioning the mimic.
More like Falyn was always around to "translate" his oddities to let the caring person he is come through, but now he is on his own, and struggles with keeping his monster-geekdom from seeming callous, at times.
I think both of these paintings gave off the same vibe.
I really like Chilchick. His character, skills and realistic view at the world, make him something more than the sum of his parts.
The dark elf jester (I think she is a bard) has also came up in the opening, but she isn't in the still image but she runs up towards the group just to not be left behind. I wonder how did she retain the memories between the paintings. Is she cursed or something that she can't escape to the real world?
