General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both [email protected] and [email protected] .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

[email protected] appears to have vanished! We can still see cached content from this link, but goodbye I guess! :'(

Sunak promoted this guy significantly above his station. He allowed him to spew his hate for the last two years because it was politically expedient for both himself, and the party at large.

Richy Sunak honestly has no idea what reality looks like.

Lee Anderson highlights the hierarchy of racism in the UK. Muslims are the easy target.

Exactly, and that's why Braverman still has the whip despite saying the same thing as Anderson but not naming names.

If he was actually worried about this stuff, he'd withdraw the whip from Braverman, too, and apologise for calling Starmer a terrorist sympathiser.

He's terrified of Braverman right? I'm not sure why. He's not winning this election, and I can't imagine he's going to hang around as the leader of the opposition.

I think he's scared of her because she's influential on the right wing. But if he had any political sense, he'd see that being terrified of her is a reason to throw her out!
