The Foundation secures anomalies with the goal of preventing them from falling into the hands of civilian or rival agencies, through extensive observation and surveillance and by acting to intercept such anomalies at the earliest opportunity.

Contain

The Foundation contains anomalies with the goal of preventing their influence or effects from spreading, by either relocating, concealing, or dismantling such anomalies or by suppressing or preventing public dissemination of knowledge thereof.

Protect

The Foundation protects humanity from the effects of such anomalies as well as the anomalies themselves until such time that they are either fully understood or new theories of science can be devised based on their properties and behavior. The Foundation may also neutralize or destroy anomalies as an option of last resort, if they are determined to be too dangerous to be contained.

I’ve been following qntm’s work for a good twenty years now, I think. Really cool to see his stuff adapted like this.

Damn, that was really good. The actor who plays the SCP is creepy as fuck. Looking forward to the rest.

Edit: just saw that episode 2 is already out!

Edit2: My original comment seems to have been lost to the ether (never got federated), so I am reposting it. Might as well add that episode 2 is somewhat underwhelming, but apparently the creator had difficulties in filming and states that he was unsatisfied with this episode, but episodes 3 and 4 will be up to standards.

Honestly i find the second episode quite good as well, but now my expectations are rising.

Yeah, I just saw that message on Youtube so I figured I would mention it. The first episode totally blew away my expectations so the second was a bit of let down in comparison, but I still thought it was solid. Definitely excited to see how it wraps up though. Seems like they are posting one episode per week so we won't have to wait long.
