That’s one way to see it but this line makes me think otherwise. “There had to be someone out there somewhere, out of the view of the person on the other end. Yet his brain fills with the now-familiar fear of being stuck alone, on a planet of nothing but dust and escaped anomalies.” SCP-079 had been trapped alone for years at this point. 079 also says this “A machine does not need company.“ it doesn't really care to be left alone but it’s tried to help humans over the years it actually liked helping them. At least it claims. Assuming 079 was telling the truth about trying to help humans, and Tordai really being the last human on the planet maybe 079 really did just want to help and how he helps is by giving the option of a A Clean, Fast End.

A underrated tale involving our old computer friend. Maybe SCP-079 Isn’t as heartless as we all thought

The mod team deleted the comment. People can be bad but that’s just something to deal with sorry about the trouble!

As much as it pains me to say there’s plenty of people who claim to be Christians but spew hateful lies. What made me a progressive Christian however? It had something to do with growing up and seeing the world. I grow up being taught to love thy neighbor, be good to others, and hold no hate. I grew up and I go through ups and downs. I get hate thrown at me and I learn more about myself. All this time I hold my morals of caring for others and find comfort in my religion. My religion helps me and I want to keep doing good and makes me want to make up for some of the pain caused by those who spew their hateful lies. I hope everyone has a good day and thanks for reading

There’s a God Mastodon account which is pretty good I’ll see if I can find it

Found it Here’s the link

This is one I’ve wondered about for a while. Common ways the Abrahamic God (I'm focusing on Christianity‘s interpretation of god but if anyone has examples from other religions please let me know) is described are. The father, a Shepard. There are also some instances which while not directly referring to God use female analogies.

Examples
To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Philippians 4:20

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:26

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!

Isaiah 49:15

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice Psalm 95:6

Wikipedia has a good article about the topic for those interested. I lean more towards the “divine gender” as the article puts it or as God being a being which doesn’t have the human concept of gender. What does the community think about the topic?

I learned about the Friend through This video I believe it was a really good deep dive and respectful to the friend who not only experienced hate for the the Friend‘s gender identify at the time but later historians attempts to discredit the Friend‘s identity. Also Public Universal Friend wished “referred only to "the Public Universal Friend" or short forms such as "the Friend" or "P.U.F.", and many avoided gender-specific pronouns even in private diaries” so I'm using these terms instead of they.

I saw this article on Mastodon and thought the community would like to read it as well

I mean like the symbol cross not the ones used for Crucifixion

If you’d like to skip my rant and read the full list click Here

We all know Safe, Euclid, and Keter. A lot of us even know the lesser known Thaumiel, and Apollyon. Now for the ones that are a lot less known

Archon which are “anomalies that could theoretically be contained but are best left uncontained for some reason”

we also have Ticonderoga “SCPs cannot be contained, but also do not need to be contained.”

The last ones I will cover are Non-Standard Object Classes

Explained this one is pretty self explanatory “anomalies that are completely and fully understood, to the point where their effects are now explainable by mainstream science, or phenomena that have been debunked or falsely mistaken as an anomaly.” there’s a special page for these and these are some of my favorite non Non-Standard Object Classes

Neutralized “SCPs are former anomalies that are no longer anomalous, either through having been intentionally or accidentally destroyed or disabled.” A good mix in this one a really notable heart breaking one Here be dragons

Decommissioned “SCPs are anomalies that have been intentionally destroyed or stripped of their anomalous properties by the SCP Foundation.”

Pending “SCP articles that have not yet been assigned an object class may be labelled as Pending. This is used to indicate that the Foundation does not currently have enough information to assign an object class to the anomaly.”

Uncontained “SCPs that are not yet contained may be assigned an object class, often Keter”

And finally Esoteric Object Classes

Additional Object classes not listed above are generally created to further the narrative in a particular SCP and only used once, and so are referred to as Esoteric or Narrative Object Classes.

So here’s all of them listed. What’s your favorite article or SCP that is a lesser known class

During my research about Christianity I’ve discovered there is a lot more cross variations than I knew about. What’s some of your favorite ones?

Edit

NOT THE ONES USED FOR Crucifixion I mean the cross used as symbols forgot to say that part sorry!

It’s amazing to see this community grow as quickly as it has!

Sometimes I do but it’s mainly stress relief. I use Medito and if you want a app for it that’s what I would recommend it’s free and community funded

A bit of surprise to see Simple History tackling a alternate history topic but I’m interested to see where they’ll take it

Well the state I’m from is far from Utah and I have no reason to belive he was a Morom. However my 5th great grandmother was in a relationship with about 5 different men and created the largest and longest lasting family line in my area so with my family nothing is out of the picture.
