At work yesterday, I had a chance to spend some time with Piper Nivens. I’ve never met a wrestler IRL besides a photo op with Christian a few years ago. I didn’t want to be that guy and ask for a picture, but she was more than happy to have a conversation.

I haven’t read too much about her, which I guess is a good thing, but when you hear stories about how your heroes are real jerks and how people are equally douchey to them at airports and whatnot, she was super awesome and seemed really down to earth. I told her that I was looking forward to seeing her when she came back for Wrestlemania and she seemed excited that she had a fan who cared enough.

TL;DR Piper Nivens is super nice IRL.

That’s pretty cool. I haven’t met any wrestlers, really, but a lot of them come across as pretty easy-going.

This seems like a safe space to tell people that I used to work with the Bunny from AEW. She deserves all the attention she gets and then some.

Did you acknowledge her? ☝️

Glad you had a nice experience, OP. Made me realise I've never met any wrestlers before. Kinda sad. John Silver and Alex Reynolds were once the only two people to like one of my tweets though. That was neat.

Edit: My wife on the other hand was once backstage at an indie show and got asked if she was a prostitute by Jake the Snake. Kinda neat too, I guess.

Always. Or at least until she hopped away…
