It's ironic that the guy made fun of for comics with too much text and no punchlines is most known for his comic with no text that wasn't meant to be funny.

OK for real tho what is Gary's mod? Who is Gary? Is it some mod of a game? I've heard that it's kinda open and one can developed for it, but its also not FOSS, so it's really not open?
I believe(didnt look it up recently) it started as a mod made by someone named garry for half life 2 to make it more like a sandbox game and then it snowballed from there into a fully fledged sandbox game that is often modded heavily. The mods are very supported, you can join a server without installing any mods client side and they will auto download and you can just play, provided you don't mind missing textures.
