What are your favourite locations/regions in this game?

Mine is definitely the Lonely Lighthouse out in Desolation Point. It's such a cozy little place and a cool shelter to have. Desolation Point in general is an interesting region.

Having only just explored the area in my most recent run, I really love the upper regions of Ash Canyon. Foreman's Cabin and Miners Foley if I had to pick a single spot.

I do love the mountaineers hut too though.

Will surely hike up there once I get some better clothing. Wolf furs take so long to craft!

I've really come around to the Forsaken Airfield. The little cave on the lake under the cabin kinda ended up meaning a lot to me. It's close to game and has good lines of sight. You need to put down trails on the ice to deal with the fog. There's a crafting bench and forge near enough to be useful with a day hike. Once you've looted the region, it's pretty nice.

The other cave on the lake would also work but it's less central, but is closer to the zone transition to ZoC.

Monolith Lake is also a high point for me, and more useful now that there's a bunker with a crafting bench in HRV. It just feels like a nice place to be. Good food security. I wish ice fishing were more viable in Interloper. Maybe with a snow shelter.
